What are Localized SDGs?

The Localized Sustainable Development Goals (LSDG) framework translates the global UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into actionable targets at the Gram Panchayat level. It focuses on 9 key themes aligned with local development priorities.

Objectives:

• Align village development with national and global SDG goals
• Create measurable and achievable targets at GP level
• Promote holistic and sustainable village development
• Track progress through concrete indicators
• Enable citizen participation in sustainable development

LSDG Implementation Status

1. Poverty Free & Enhanced Livelihood Panchayat

Sankalp Status: Resolution Adopted

Key Achievements:

• Achieved 100% coverage under PM-KISAN for eligible farmers
• Achieved 180 women enrolled in 15 Self Help Groups (SHGs)
• Achieved Rs. 25 lakhs collective savings mobilized through SHGs
• Achieved 30 micro-enterprises started with SHG support
• Achieved 100% MGNREGS employment on demand (2,450 person-days in 2025-26)
• Achieved 45 youth trained in skill development programs
• Active Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) linked with 85 farmers

Ongoing Initiatives:

• Livestock development program with 50 beneficiaries
• Organic farming promotion for 30 farmers
• Rural entrepreneurship support program

2. Healthy Panchayat

Sankalp Status: Resolution Adopted

Key Achievements:

• Achieved Primary Health Center functional with 24/7 services
• Achieved 100% institutional deliveries (zero home births)
• Achieved 100% children fully immunized (0-5 years)
• Achieved 98% antenatal care coverage for pregnant women
• Achieved Zero cases of malnutrition among children
• Achieved 100% coverage under Ayushman Bharat health insurance
• Achieved Monthly health camps conducted in all villages
• Achieved Ayurveda and Yoga awareness programs conducted

Health Infrastructure:

• 1 Primary Health Center with 2 doctors, 5 staff
• 3 Anganwadi centers covering all villages
• Ambulance service available (108 emergency)

Overall Progress: 95% Achieved

3. Child Friendly Panchayat

Sankalp Status: Resolution Adopted

Key Achievements:

• Achieved 100% enrollment in primary schools (6-14 age group)
• Achieved Zero school dropouts in last 2 years
• Achieved 3 Anganwadi centers providing nutrition to 120 children
• Achieved Mid-day meal program in all schools
• Achieved 100% children registered at birth
• Achieved Child Protection Committee formed and active
• Achieved Playground developed in all 3 villages
• Achieved Child helpline number displayed prominently

Education Infrastructure:

• 3 Primary Schools (1 in each village)
• 1 Secondary School (centrally located)
• Library facilities in 2 schools
• Computer education in secondary school

4. Water Sufficient Panchayat

Sankalp Status: Resolution Adopted

Key Achievements:

• Achieved 100% households with tap water connection (JJM)
• Achieved Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTC): 250/250
• Achieved 3 overhead water tanks constructed
• Achieved Water quality testing done quarterly (all samples safe)
• Achieved 5 check dams constructed for water conservation
• Achieved 2 percolation tanks for groundwater recharge
• Active Rainwater harvesting structures in 45 households
• Active Water conservation awareness programs conducted

Water Management:

• Village Water & Sanitation Committee (VWSC) active
• Water budgeting and planning done annually
• Source sustainability plan prepared

5. Clean & Green Panchayat

• Achieved ODF Plus status maintained for 3+ years
• Achieved 100% household toilet coverage (250/250)
• Achieved Solid waste management system operational
• Achieved Plastic-free village campaign successful
• Achieved 15,000+ trees planted in last 3 years
• Achieved Community composting pits in all villages
• Achieved Drainage system improved in all habitations
• Achieved 85 LED street lights installed (energy efficient)

Environmental Initiatives:

• Monthly cleanliness drives (Swachhata Abhiyan)
• Village beautification with flower gardens
• Ban on single-use plastics enforced
• Waste segregation at source promoted

6. Panchayat with Self-Sufficient Infrastructure

• Achieved Panchayat Bhavan with all facilities
• Achieved Community halls in 2 villages
• Achieved Burial/cremation ground facilities

• 3 bridges connecting villages
• 85 LED street lights

7. Socially Secured Panchayat

Sankalp Status: Resolution Adopted

Key Achievements:

• Achieved 100% pension coverage for eligible beneficiaries (85 persons)
• Achieved 100% families with ration cards (250/250)
• Achieved Zero cases of manual scavenging
• Achieved Complete coverage under Ayushman Bharat
• Achieved 9/9 ST families covered under welfare schemes
• Achieved Social audit conducted for all programs
• Active Women safety initiatives and helpline
• Active Senior citizen welfare programs

Social Security Coverage:

• Old Age Pension: 45 beneficiaries
• Widow Pension: 20 beneficiaries
• Disability Pension: 12 beneficiaries
• Farmer Pension: 8 beneficiaries

8. Panchayat with Good Governance
